U.S. Recommends Only Six Months in Prison for Ray Epps Who Incited People to Enter the Capitol on Jan. 6

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has recommended only six months in prison and a $500 fine for James Ray Epps who incited other January 6 protestors to enter the Capitol.

“The government recommends that this Court sentence Defendant James Ray Epps, Sr. to six months incarceration, which is the high end of the applicable Sentencing Guidelines range of zero to six months,” said the DOJ.

The sentence recommended by the DOJ is significantly less than the sentences issued for any other January 6 rioters, many of whom face multiple years in prison.

Another rioter, Henry Tarrio, faces 22 years in prison for his involvement in the January 6 incident, the longest sentence given to anyone involved.

The video embedded below shows Epps clearly instigating the riot and encouraging people to enter the capitol building.

People who weren’t even in DC on January 6 are spending multiple decades in jail but the guy who actually told people to inside the Capitol will be free in less than 6 months.

Although Epps initially faced felony charges, the DOJ offered him a plea deal that downgraded the charges to misdemeanors.

The DOJ claims that they offered Epps a plea deal because he turned himself in two days after the incident, complied with FBI investigations, and tried to “deescalate conflict” despite video showing Epps, on multiple occasions, telling other protestors to enter the capitol, which other protestors initially opposed.

The DOJ also believed that Epps should receive reduced charges because he was accused of being a government agent.

“Epps has been the target of a false and widespread conspiracy theory that he was an undercover government agent,” said the DOJ.

Epps’ identity has been the subject of speculation since before the protestors entered the Capitol.

Video from January 5th shows Epps telling protestors to enter the capitol, and protestors accusing him of being a federal agent in response.

It is unclear why accusations that Epps is a federal agent would in any way factor into the DOJ’s decision to give him a significantly shorter sentence than anyone else convicted in connection with the January 6 riot.

Epps should learn a valuable lesson here….do not ever be used as a tool for the dirty FBI.

“It is unclear why accusations that Epps is a federal agent would in any way factor into the DOJ’s decision to give him a significantly shorter sentence than anyone else convicted in connection with the January 6 riot.” Could it be that this prosecution is an agreement between Epps AND the FBI to erase any suspicion of Epps acting as an agent for the FBI?

The right-wing narrative that Ray Epps instigated the attack on the Capitol is funny since they also claim it was a normal tourist visit. But gotta hand it to Ray. He is apparently the most persuasive person on the planet, even more then Dear Leader. We didn’t want to overrun the Capitol, but Ray , with his Jedi Mind Control, forced us to!
