House Oversight: Biden-Harris Unprepared for Chinese Communist Party’s “Unrestricted Warfare”

A new report released by the Republican House Oversight Committee warns that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is intensifying its political warfare against the United States, while the Biden-Harris administration lacks a cohesive government-wide strategy to confront the threat.

The report, published on October 24, 2024, asserts that federal agencies have largely failed to respond adequately to CCP influence operations that target American institutions, industries, and members of the political elite.

Titled “CCP Political Warfare: Federal Agencies Urgently Need a Government-Wide Strategy,” the report accuses the CCP of waging “unrestricted warfare” against the U.S. and highlights failures across 25 federal sectors to defend against infiltration.

The investigation, led by Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.), paints a dire picture of China’s tactics, which include exploiting American businesses, stealing corporate secrets, influencing universities through so-called “Confucius Centers”, and using fentanyl trafficking in partnership with Latin American cartels as a form of chemical warfare.

“The CCP is successfully infiltrating and influencing communities and critical sectors across this nation, and the Biden-Harris Administration is asleep at the wheel,” Comer said in a statement. He criticized federal agencies for failing to develop a cohesive strategy, leaving Americans vulnerable to CCP threats.

The report warns that the CCP has entrenched itself within U.S. borders by capturing influential elites in business, politics, and academia. Notably, it claims that current Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Timothy Walz has longstanding ties to CCP-connected entities, raising concerns about possible CCP influence on U.S. policy decisions.

Key recommendations from the report include creating a unified government strategy to confront the CCP’s political warfare, increasing transparency about the nature of Chinese influence, and engaging the American public about the risks.

Agencies like the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) have taken steps to counter CCP-backed fentanyl distribution, but the report claims these efforts are hampered by the absence of broader government support.

The report also highlights troubling failures in several departments, including the Department of Education, which it says lacks a plan to protect Chinese and American students from CCP proxy groups on U.S. campuses, and the Department of Treasury, which is accused of downplaying China’s economic warfare.

“The United States faces a new cold war, but only one side—the CCP—is committed to winning it,” the report states, calling on the federal government to mobilize and counter the threat before it worsens.

The report includes coverage of CCP-backed activities in Maine, including the growing network of illicit Chinese cannabis growing operations, many of which were purchased using a taxpayer-subsidized federal loan program for foreign nationals.

Joe Biden is unprepared for everything and anything other than his next ice cream cone .
He is the worst president in our history . He doesn’t know what day it is .
His cohort Kamala Harris is the worst vice president in our history .

“….the Biden-Harris Administration is asleep at the wheel,” said Comer.
    1. It’s either blatant incompetence from installing unqualified DEI ideologues in key positions. Or,
    2. As with the border, pushing the fake climate change agenda, defunding the police, wasteful spending and so on, it’s DELIBERATE.
    3. A combination of both.
I lean toward #2 because this administration is full of Marxists who hate this country.

All I can say is I’m sure glad I’m not falling for WWIII hype like a dumb homosexual infidel. Russia is not the enemy, Iran is not the enemy, China is not the enemy.
