Four individuals were arrested last week in Brooks following a months-long investigation into drug trafficking in Waldo County, authorities announced.

On Wednesday, June 18, Maine State Police troopers, alongside deputies from the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office and an investigator from the Maine Department of Corrections, executed a search warrant at 23 Gardner Drive in Brooks.

The joint operation targeted the residence, which was identified by investigators as a hub for distributing fentanyl and crack cocaine in the greater Waldo County region.

During the search, law enforcement seized multiple firearms, a significant amount of cash, approximately 87 grams of fentanyl powder, 5 grams of crack cocaine, and illegally possessed prescription drugs.
