The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency (MDEA) and Knox County Sheriff’s Office joined Rockland Police in executing the warrant secured as part of a drug investigation.
During the raid, police arrested Wanda Chipman, 64, of Rockland, for felony unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and violating conditions of release.
Chipman was previously arrested over the weekend during a routine traffic stop when she was allegedly discovered with five grams of cocaine.
Following her Thursday arrest, Chipman incurred additional charges of falsifying or destroying physical evidence and felony trafficking in prison contraband after she allegedly smuggled crack cocaine into jail “on/in” her person, and attempted to dispose of the drugs after she was at the jail.
