A Florida man and a woman from South Thomaston were arrested by Rockland police on Friday after they were allegedly found with fentanyl during a traffic stop.

Shortly before midnight, Rockland officers conducted a routine traffic stop on a vehicle operated by Stacey Grierson, 53, of South Thomaston.

During the stop, officers discovered that Grierson was on probation following a previous felony drug conviction.

Officers then searched the vehicle along with passenger Johander Camacho Polanco, 24, of Florida.

They allegedly discovered approximately 9 grams of fentanyl and approximately 28 grams of cocaine.

Police took both Polanco and Grierson into custody and transported them to the Knox County Jail.

Grierson faces charges of aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs and has been issued a probation hold.

Polanco faces charges of felony unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs.
