A technical glitch at Maine’s largest paper was only supposed to be a temporary thing.

But it appears the highest-paid journalistic Geek squad in Maine can’t figure out the problem.

“Secret insider information,” the paper’s editor posted February 27 on the home page. “We’re tinkering with the website, and for the next couple of days, the paywall is completely shut off. Read all the things for free.”

“Secret insider information.”

Haha.

The real question is doesn’t the multi-millon-dollar National Trust for Local News have the wherewithal to fix a website?

Asking for a friend.
