In over a dozen instances, Hunter Biden put his then-Vice President father Joe Biden on speakerphone with his overseas business partners during meetings, according to Biden associate Devon Archer, who is set to testify before Congress this week.

Archer, who was first subpoenaed in June but has canceled his scheduled depositions three times, is expected to testify before the GOP-led House Oversight Committee this week before Congress’ month-long August recess.
“We are looking forward very much to hearing from Devon Archer about all the times he has witnessed Joe Biden meeting with Hunter Biden’s overseas business partners when he was vice president, including on speakerphone,” said Oversight Committee Chair Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.).
The anticipated testimony is yet another revelation that elevates the allegations against the Bidens from a story about a misguided son struggling with drug addiction into full-blown corruption and abuse of power scandal.
The Committee will use Archer’s testimony to probe into over a dozen instances in which Hunter Biden allegedly called his father during business meetings to impress prospective investors, according to the New York Post.
Congressional investigators are expected to ask Archer about a Dec. 4, 2015 board meeting of the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma in Dubai — a company which at that time was paying Hunter Biden $83,000 per month as a director.
According a report by the Post Sunday, Archer will testify that after dinner with the Burisma board, he and Hunter left to have a drink with one of Hunter’s friends at the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach.
While at the bar, senior Burisma executive Vadym Pozharskyi called to ask where they were, because Burisma’s owner, Mykola Zlochevsky, needed to speak with Hunter urgently.
After the call, two Ukrainians joined Hunter and Archer at the Four Seasons, and then Hunter called his father and introduced him the Ukrainians — saying something to the effect that the Burisma executives “need our support.”
Just days after that call, on Dec. 9, 2015, then-VP Joe Biden flew to Kyiv to address the Ukrainian parliament on “cronyism, corruption, and kleptocracy.”
Last Thursday, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) publicly released an FBI document showing the bureau was informed in 2017 of a possible bribery scheme involving then-VP Joe Biden, Hunter, and Burisma.
According to a confidential human source, Mykola Zlochevsky spoke in 2016 about a $10 million bribe paid to the Bidens to have Ukrainian state prosecutor Viktor Shokin fired.
In a meeting with the FBI’s source, Zlochevsky allegedly said that “it cost 5 (million) to pay one Biden, and 5 (million) to another Biden,” which the source understood to mean that Zlochevsky had paid them to “deal with Shokin.”
In 2018, Joe Biden bragged that as Vice President he had successfully gotten Viktor Shokin — who was investigating Burisma for corruption — fired in 2016 by threatening to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid to Ukraine.
During a CNN Democratic presidential debate in 2019, Joe Biden claimed that he had never discussed with his son Hunter anything about his business dealings in Ukraine.
Archer is also expected to testify this week about two dinners Hunter Biden organized for his then-VP father to meet his Ukrainian business partners.
Burisma executive Pozharskyi attended an April 16, 2015 dinner with Hunter and his father in Washington, D.C.
The day after the dinner, Pozharskyi sent Hunter Biden an email — found on Hunter’s infamous abandoned laptop — to thank him for introducing him to his father:
“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” he wrote.
Former President Barack Obama has yet to comment publicly on the revelations regarding his Vice President’s foreign business dealings.
UPDATE: An Oversight Committee spokesperson confirmed to CBS News Monday afternoon that a transcribed interview with Devon Archer is scheduled for Monday, July 31.

Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky in a recorded interview with Rudy Giuliani stated “No one from Burisma ever had any contacts with VP Biden or people working for him during Hunter Biden’s engagement” with Burisma. Devon Archer has been convicted of a $60,000,000 fraud scheme and keeps canceling his testimony before the Committee three times so far. Gee, I wonder why? I wonder if he will show up today.
