Russian media has confirmed that Tucker Carlson, a resident of Oxford County, was photographed over the weekend in Russia, has conducted an interview in Moscow with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Carlson was spotted several times in the Russian capital, including in the famous Bolshoi Theatre. Russian media reportedly asked Carlson about an interview with Putin, and he responded by smiling and saying, “We’ll see.”

Rumors of Carlson interviewing Putin are also fueled by the fact that last September, Carlson claimed the U.S. government blocked a proposed interview with Vladimir Putin. The then-Fox News commentator also alleged that the U.S. government had surveilled his electronic communications.

American politicians and media figures had varying reactions regarding Carlson’s possible interview with Putin.

Former Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger called Carlson “a traitor” in a post on X.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) defended a possible Carlson-Putin interview.

“Democrats and their propagandists in the media are spasming at the prospect of Tucker Carlson interviewing Putin,” Greene said.

They feel entitled to the position of gatekeeper and believe they are the ones who tell you what to think and believe.

Former editor of the failed Weekly Standard magazine, Bill Kristol, had perhaps the most extreme reaction to the interview, postulating on X that perhaps Carlson should not be allowed back into the United States.

Fat cheeked Billy Kristol is one of the GOP elites. His magazine folded because of him. The fact that he is a Republican is a disgrace. And Adam Kinzinger is almost as bad as Kristol is. He is not much either.
