President Joe Biden apologized for calling the illegal immigrant who is suspected of murdering 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley “an illegal,” but issued no apology for getting Riley’s name wrong during his State of the Union Speech (SOTU).

During President Biden’s Speech on Thursday night, conservatives, particularly Rep. Marjorie Green (R-Ga.), demanded that Biden say the name of Laken Riley, as a symbolic gesture to acknowledge the crime crisis created by his open border policy.
Biden, appearing to improvise in response to the pressure, botched a reference to Riley’s murder.
“Lincoln Riley, an innocent young woman who was killed by an illegal,” said Biden, before attempting to attribute the uncontrolled southern U.S. border on a lack of Congressional action.
Following the speech, Biden received heavy criticism from conservatives for getting Riley’s name wrong, and came under fire from his own party for using the legally accurate terminology to refer to the illegal alien suspected of murdering her.
Jose Ibarra, 26, a Venezuelan national, was arrested shortly after Riley was founded beaten to death.
U.S. immigration officials have said Ibarra entered the U.S. illegally in 2022 and was allowed to remain in the interior of the country.
He is now facing charges of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, kidnapping, hindering a 911 call and concealing the death of another.
Biden did not apologize for misnaming Ibarra’s alleged victim, but he did express regret for calling her Ibarra “an illegal,” during an interview with MSNBC.
“I shouldn’t have used Illegal, it’s undocumented,” said Biden. “I’m not gonna treat any any any of these people with disrespect. Look, they built the country, the reason our economy’s growing, we have to control the border, and more orderly slow, but I don’t share [Former President Donald Trump’s] view at all.”
Biden’s apology sparked outrage from conservatives, who attacked Biden for apologizing to an alleged murderer, and for policies which, they argue, enabled the murder, and allowed the Ibarra to avoid deportation in 2022.

Further evidence of what an absolute joke Biden is. He apologized to a criminal illegal murderer for calling him illegal which is exactly what he is. Biden hasn’t called or apologized to the family of the actual innocent victim Laken Riley, in his confused state of mind Biden couldn’t even get her name right in his speech. Sadly typical of Dementia Joe. Her death along with many others is a direct result of Biden’s refusal to enforce our immigration laws.
