No Arrests as Franklin County Raids Suspected Illegal Marijuana Operation Tied to Properties in Cambridge, Embden, and Skowhegan: Triad Weed

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department did not make any arrests as they raided a property on the Industry Road in New Sharon, WGME reported Tuesday evening.

According to WGME, the property was raided on Friday after the Sheriff’s Office was able to get a search warrant based on the electrical capacity installed at the residence.

The property, which was previously known to the Maine Wire as an illicit Chinese-owned marijuana growing operation, had commercial-grade power installed in April 2022.

Electrical records tie the property to several other properties in Maine which also show the tell-tale signs of marijuana grows, including commercial-grade electricity, recent purchases from out-of-state buyers, boarded up windows, and the strong aroma of cannabis.

After the 210 Industry Road property was purchased, a man named Wai Man Chu purported to be the owner of the property and served as the point of contact for an electrical inspection, according to state records obtained via a Freedom of Access Act request.

The phone number Chu provided was also provided for the commercial-grade power inspections at three other properties throughout Maine: 42 Prentiss Lane in Skowhegan, 445 E. Shore Road in Embden, and 865 Dexter Road in Cambridge.

While Chu was listed as the point of contact for the Cambridge property, the name provided for the Embden property was Simon Lam, and the name provided for the Cambridge property was Wu Man Chu (a possible typo).

Electrical records variously indicate that Chu is a resident of Skowhegan, New Sharon, and Buckfield.

Property records show that Wai Man Chu is the owner of the 42 Prentiss Lane property, which he purchased off of Jian Ji Wu, of Madison, in July 2023.

However, Chu is not the property owner at the New Sharon location. That property belongs to Huifen Liu of Malden, Mass., according to tax records.

According to a New Sharon resident, a steady flow of vans with out-of-state license plates arrived and departed from the property, and all of the windows of the house were boarded up, shortly after Liu purchased it.

The Industry Road property is not the only — or the largest — illegal marijuana growing operation in New Sharon, according to the Maine Wire’s ongoing investigation into what the Department of Homeland Security has dubbed Asian Transnational Criminal Organizations.

On Monday, U.S. Sen. Susan Collins (R), referencing the Maine Wire’s reporting, asked FBI Director Christopher Wray about the illegal marijuana operations in rural Maine.

.@SenatorCollins references our Triad Weed reporting during a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing, asking FBI Director Wray why China is sending their citizens to grow marijuana illegally in rural America.

Come on Susan, don’t be so naive. The FBI only participates in entrapment of political adversaries. This is of no interest to them. They are not in the business of enforcing the law for the average citizen. This is the new Obama-Biden FBI.

It might be a stretch, but this could be bigger than just growing weed in rural Maine. The CCP is interested in colonizing the U.S. See this “Secret Speech” by Gen. Chi Haotian: https://jrnyquist.blog/2019/09/11/the-secret-speech-of-general-chi-haotian/

zionist israel is interested in colonizing the world. It was promised to them as an inheritance passed down by their inbred ancestors. From the river to the sea is actually a zionist claim to all the land of the world. Jehovah promised them the world and the right to rule over goyim. Of course, the jewish God is actually satan according to Jesus who was only half inbred because his father the one true God impregnated Mary when she was only13 yrs old. Mary and Joseph of course were inbreeders and both in the David line which is why Jesus has a claim to the earthly throne in zion, israel.

Why is no one being arrested? That is a pertinent part of the story I would think? Is there a snitch in the department? But nothing is said about why no one was arrested? Are they leaving state? Maybe they should be looking up these owners and charging them as an accomplice, they did the electrical upgrades they are in it, calls for extradition and stand trial I would think. Or it’s only for citizens of Maine that are arrest-able??

I just read another article on the weed topic. We’re national news now. So someone please tell me why law enforcement and our politicians aren’t getting a handle on the illegality! With no more USA, they’ll all be out of jobs anyway. Stop the insanity😠

“From California to Maine, Chinese organized crime has come to dominate much of the nation’s illicit marijuana trade, an investigation by ProPublica and The Frontier has found. Along with the explosive growth of this criminal industry, the gangsters have unleashed lawlessness: violence, drug trafficking, money laundering, gambling, bribery, document fraud, bank fraud, environmental damage and theft of water and electricity”.
