A traffic stop in Portland Sunday resulted in a pair of arrests on drug trafficking charges after police discovered fentanyl and other narcotics in the vehicle, Portland Police announced Monday.
Police said they conducted a traffic stop on Pearl Street in Portland on Sunday, March 3, at about 12:30 a.m.
According to police, during the stop it was discovered that one of the occupants of the vehicle had multiple warrants out for his arrest.
A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of 10.69 grams of fentanyl, 1.52 grams of cocaine, various blue pills as well as a digital scale, police said.

The driver of the vehicle, 46-year-old Joshua Lajeunesse of North Conway, N.H., was charged with Unlawful Trafficking in Scheduled Drugs and Unlawful Possession of Schedule “W” Drugs.
Glenn Ingalls, 54, of Gorham, the passenger in the vehicle, was charged with charged with Unlawful Trafficking in Scheduled Drugs, Unlawful Possession of Schedule “W” Drugs, Violating Conditions of Release, while he was also arrested on a warrant.
Look at the number of out standing warrants. It showes the police have not done their jobs.
