Dallas police arrested four suspected Venezuelan gang members last week after they allegedly robbed a woman at gunpoint in her home in September and resisted arrest during an eight-hour armed standoff.

The four men reportedly broke into the victim’s Elsby Avenue home in Dallas on September 21, after assaulting her in her driveway.

They then followed the victim into her garage and reportedly beat her with a firearm before forcing her into her living room and threatening her at gunpoint.

The victim told police that the Venezuelans threatened to cut off her fingers if she didn’t comply with their demands.

The men then reportedly looted the house, taking $75,000 worth of jewelry, along with designer handbags, the victim’s phone, and coins from a wooden box.

Police were able to identify one suspect, the 28-year-old Manuel Hernandez-Hernandez, based on fingerprints left on the wooden box.

The Dallas police took Hernandez-Hernandez into custody last Monday and found that he had been arrested in Colleyville, Texas, on September 19 and released just one day before the robbery.

Colleyville officers arrested Hernandez-Hernandez during a traffic stop when they realized that he was driving an unregistered vehicle with no driver’s license or car insurance.

They also found drug paraphernalia in his possession.

After Hernandez-Hernandez was arrested, he told the police that the robbers were members of the El Anti-Tren Venezuelan gang.

He claimed that he was paid only $150 for his role in the robbery and believed that they were collecting money from a prostitute.

He told officers that the other people involved in the robbery were also involved in sex trafficking.

Law enforcement tracked down three other men believed to be involved in the robbery: Yean Brayhan Torralba, 20, Alberto Martinez Silva, 34, and Wilmer Colmenares Gonzalez, 27.

Gonzalez barricaded himself in an apartment complex in Irving, Texas, and held off police during an eight-hour standoff.

He was eventually arrested after a SWAT team arrived at the apartment complex.

According to reports, all four suspects are in the country illegally and were placed on immigration hold in the Dallas County Jail, where they face aggravated robbery charges.

According to FOX 4, two other suspects in the robbery remain at large.

Venezuelan gangs have become a problem across the country under the Biden-Harris Administration’s immigration policy allowing Venezuelans to remain in the country with temporary protected status.

Army documents discovered by investigative journalist James O’Keefe revealed that 400 members of a different Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua (TdA), infiltrated New York City.

Gang leaders reportedly authorized TdA members to attack law enforcement across the U.S.

TdA members also reportedly took control of the Aspen Grove apartment complex in Aurora, Colorado, in June and held it until the complex was closed down by authorities in August.

The Army document warned that Venezuelan gang activity is increasing significantly across the country.
