The FBI took to X on Monday to celebrate the conviction of a Lewiston man who pleaded guilty on Thursday to cyberstalking charges.
Brent Ouellette, 33, of Lewiston, pleaded guilty to charges of stalking using facilities of interstate or foreign commerce on Thursday after harassing a victim online for an unspecified period, ending in August 2021.
According to court documents, Ouellette’s actions included posting sexually explicit images and videos of his victim online against her will, contacting the victim while impersonating others, and even obtaining her social media login information.
He faces a maximum five-year prison sentence and $250,000 fine.
