Emergency responders arrived to discover that a 9-year-old boy was walking to school when he attempted to cross Richardson Street at a crosswalk. At the same time, a Jeep Wrangler driven by a 32-year-old woman from Bath turned left from High Street onto Richardson Street, hitting the child.
The car’s bumper struck the child and pushed him to the ground.
