Kenneth Adams, 40, pleaded guilty in December to trafficking large amounts of fentanyl and cocaine from the Bronx, New York, to Maine.

According to court records, Adams served as a middleman in a New York-based drug trafficking operation from December 2023 through June 2024.

He would transfer significant quantities of fentanyl and cocaine from suppliers in the Bronx to mid-level dealers in Knox County, Maine, who would then further distribute the illegal substances.

Adams also reportedly possessed at least one firearm in connection with his drug trafficking operations.

Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency (MDEA) investigated the case.

In addition to his ten-year prison sentence, Adams will face eight years of supervised release.
