WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald J. Trump announced Monday morning that the United States and Iran have engaged in what he described as “very good and productive conversations” over the past two days, aimed at achieving what he called a “complete and total resolution” of hostilities in the Middle East.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated that discussions between the two countries had been constructive and would continue throughout the week.
“I am please to report that the United States of America, and the country of Iran, have had, over the last two days, very good and productive conversations regarding a complete and total resolution of our hostilities in the Middle East,” Trump wrote. “Based on the tenor and tone of these in depth, detailed, and constructive conversations, which will continue throughout the week, I have instructed the Department of War to postpone any and all military strikes against Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure for a five day period, subject to the success of the ongoing meetings and discussions.”
Trump concluded the statement by thanking those involved for their attention to the matter and reaffirming his decision to delay military action while negotiations continue.
The announcement indicates a temporary pause in planned military operations targeting Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure, contingent on the progress of ongoing diplomatic discussions between the two nations.

The big question being will Mills and co. sue.
