Maine Man Final Conviction in 10-Person Multistate Meth Trafficking Conspiracy

A Maine man has been convicted by a federal jury in Boston in connection to his role in a methamphetamine conspiracy that operated in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Northern California.

Jacob Parlin, 44, of Lebanon, Maine, was convicted on Nov. 30 of one count of conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine, and one count of distribution of and possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.

Parlin was the tenth and final defendant to be convicted in the drug trafficking conspiracy, dating back to a December 2021 indictment.

Evidence presented at trial established that Parlin conspired with others from March 2020 through May 2021, along with others, to distribute and possess with intent to distribute quantities of methamphetamine greater than 50 grams, according to the Massachusetts Department of Justice.

Parlin is set to be sentenced in a March 7, 2024 hearing, and faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years and up to life in prison for each charge, as well as up to a lifetime of supervised release and a fine of up to $10 million.
