In a secret recording released by the Maine GOP Tuesday morning, a Democratic state senator questions Democratic governor candidate Michael Michaud’s intelligence and tells a constituent he prefers independent Eliot Cutler.

“So, Michaud is… much Michaud is.. umm he’s not the… he’s good, he’s good, he’s strong; high average, but he’s not a brain guy,” said Sen. Geoff Gratwick (D-Penobscot), in the one-minute edited recording.

“Appears I would have probably if it were Michaud and Cutler, I probably would have probably voted for Cutler, because I think he’s probably more measured and brighter,” Gratwick said.

For the first time I agree with Senator Gratwick on something!

When I decided to run for the 2nd District seat in 2008 I had already heard repeated negative remarks about Mike’s 15-watt intellect, but nothing about his lavender passions. After my announcement I heard lots about the latter. Never made mention of his passions, but used to make sport of his negligible intellectual capacities. The press must have heard the same thing i did, but never acknowledged the chatter, leavi9jg it to Mike to declare his sexual commitments. I wonder if the press will now acknowledge that the man lingers on the lower west end of the Bell Curve,

He’s more brainy than our current governor, so he gets my vote! Truly, the GOP ought not cast stones on this issue. LePage is running on empty when it comes to original ideas – well, good ones, anyway.

As I said elsewhere Nate Marvin is a valuable resource; he never disappoints. Here we see how he eschews any attempt to tout Mike’s intelligence. I’ve always admired Cicero’s short sharp sentence in his famous Catiline Oration: “Tacant clamant”—THEIR SILENCE CRIES OUT!”

Speaking of brain,s or lack thereof, did anyone hear Mr. Misiuk on Maine Calling today? He really needs to go back to school for an education. Always nice to see young people entering politics, however what we need are INFORMED young people, not ideologues who take their cues from Talk Radio. I think Chellie Pingree is pretty safe this time around.

  16. seo plugin on October 5, 2014 8:06 PM

Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That’s right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at. Seo Plugin
