Man Breaks Into Portland School, Offers Girl Hypodermic Needles

On Monday morning Portland Police officers responded to a report of a suspicious man who had entered King Middle School in Portland.

Upon arrival, officers found the perpetrator near the Deering Oaks Park entrance to the middle school.

Portland Police announced Tuesday the arrest of Jacob Horwitch, a 43-year-old Portland man, charged with Criminal Trespass, Violation of Privacy and Refusing to Submit to Arrest or Detention.

The officers’ investigation revealed that Horwitch had entered the girl’s bathroom and offered hypodermic needles to a female student.
