Portland Police Investigating Armed Robbery at Fried Chicken Restaurant

Portland Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred late Tuesday afternoon at a local fried chicken restaurant.

Police say there were called to Crown Fried Chicken at 408 Forest Ave. in Portland Tuesday at approximately 5:25 p.m. for a reported robbery.

A male had entered the business and displayed a black handgun while demanding cash, before fleeing out of the business and running north on Forest Ave.

The suspect was described as a white male, 5’10”-6′ tall.

Investigators are urging anyone who has any information that might assist them to call (207) 874-8575, or text keyword PPDME and your message to 847411.
