Portland Police announced Friday that they responded to a shooting Thursday night at Union Station Plaza which injured one victim.
Police say they were called to the Union Station Plaza at 274 Saint John Street for a report of a shooting shortly after 10 p.m. Thursday.
Shortly after, officers located a victim nearby who had sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to Maine Medical Center.
Portland Police say they are following leads and currently investigating the shooting, and believe there is not threat to the public.
