A Maine Man was arrested late Monday night after allegedly exposing himself to students on the Bates College campus in Lewiston, according to police.

Lewiston Police say they were called to the Bates College campus on Monday, Feb. 26 at approximately 11:47 p.m. for a report of a male exposing himself to students.

After speaking with witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage from the area, with the assistance of the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office K-9 team, police located 55-year-old Robert Allen Burgess Jr. of Mechanic Falls hiding nearby, police said.
