Controversial Bill Targeting “Unauthorized Paramilitary Training” Passes Through Maine’s House

Maine’s House passed a controversial bill targeting “unauthorized paramilitary training” which has raised concerns with Second Amendment rights advocates, who believe that it could be used to target law-abiding gun owners and firearms instructors.

The bill passed by a single vote.

“The United States of America was founded on what this bill would define as a civil disorder. I find it very likely that King George III would have been very, very supportive of this legislation,” said Rep. Donald Ardell (R-Monticello).

During the House proceedings on Wednesday, numerous Republican representatives spoke against the bill, calling it a violation of constitutional rights.

“I have the right to determine how I want to practice, rehearse train, or drill. This bill is a violation of my constitutional rights,” said Rep. Mike Soboleski (R-Philips).

The bill was originally proposed by Rep. Laurie Osher (D-Orno) in response to a brief attempt by Neo-Nazi Chris Pohlhaus and former Democrat activist Fred Ramey to build a neo-Nazi compound for their “Blood Tribe” in Springfield, Maine.

The Maine Wire Editor-in-Chief Steve Robinson visited the site of the neo-Nazi camp earlier this year, and discovered nothing but an abandoned camper, and a single tent.

LD 2130 makes it a crime for anyone to instruct a person in the use of a firearm or explosive if the instructor knows or “reasonably should know” that the trainee intends to further “civil disorder”.

Multiple firearms instructors told The Maine Wire that they are very concerned with the burden placed on instructors to determine the motives of everyone who comes to them for training.

Following a contentious debate in the house, the bill passed in a 72-71 vote.

No House Republicans voted in favor of the bill, and two Independents and three Democrats voted in opposition.

Eight representatives were absent from the vote.

Has anyone noticed anytime there is an ‘important’ bill up for a vote there is always enough legislators among the missing? How many Republicans were missing for this one and all the other bills such as taking away our vote with the compact and now the Red Flag law? When are the people of Maine going to learn that this is the Uniparty and they are all in it for themselves?

Simple, when filling out the application for the training course you write in the “reason” section “All lawful purposes”.

I wouldn’t worry too much about this particular bill. I would be more worried it the bill attempted to outlaw Maine citizen militias who could augment the Maine State National Guard if necessary or fight on their own if the citizens of Maine were attacked by organized illegal immigrants and the state’s National Guard was occupied elsewhere or if it was outnumbered by the attacking forces.

For example, it is now known that at least 100,000 Chinese military age men have now crossed illegally into this country. A retired U.S. Air Force Brigadier General, Blaine D. Holt, points out that this represents 10 military divisions of 10,000 men each. Now, consider that Maine’s Governor Mills intends to bring 75,000 illegals into Maine.

In 2002, two Chinese Colonels published a book titled, Unrestricted Warfare: China’s Master Plan to Destroy America in which they “…suggest the significance of alternatives to direct military confrontation, including international policy, economic warfare, attacks on digital infrastructure and networks, and terrorism.” (from an Amazon description of the book).

In 2003, a former Chinese Foreign Minister, General Chi HaoTian gave a speech to the leaders of the CCP titled, War Is Not Far from Us and Is the Midwife of the Chinese Century, (published in 2005) where he advocated softening and killing tens of millions the U.S citizenry with biological warfare before attacking and killing every American man, woman and child except for Native Americans who originally came to the U.S.from China. China would then repopulate the U.S. with native Chinese to make use of U.S. farm land to feed the population of China. General Chi HaoTian believed that once the U.S. was defeated, all other countries would fall like dominoes.

With regard to my previous post, when you read General Chi HaoTian’s speech, please note the following sentence, “…as long as we resolve the United States problem at ONE blow, our domestic problems will all be readily solved. Therefore, our military battle preparation APPEARS to aim at Taiwan, but in fact is aimed at the United States, and the preparation is far beyond the scope of attacking aircraft carriers or satellites.

The reason I point to this sentence is that presently, the U.S. government seems to be suggesting that China is preparing to soon attack Taiwan; whereas, if the CCP is following General Chi HaoTian’s playbook, China is, in fact, preparing to attack the United States.

Surprised the vote wasn’t at midnight, Bad Sh-t always happens at night, should be no votes after 5 pm. Rep with families are never there, just party people without lives

The property owners where the Nazis want to train should have some rights. Can’t even have a shelter for homeless on Green St. in Augusta because it might draw more unhoused according to the city council but you can have Nazis training with guns ??? So yea I was triggered. Call me a snow flake but I did what any normal person does and contributed to her “Libby’s”, opponents campaign. His bio is awesome

The Dems in the Legislature and the Governor are causing much more harm to the state of Maine than any militia. They are the ones that should be eliminated by voting them out of office.
