On Monday, California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) signed a bill into law preventing schools implementing policies that require parents to be notified if their children have begun to identify as transgender, causing outrage among Golden State parents and parental rights advocates.

In response to the law, billionaire Elon Musk, who has recently promised to donate hundreds of millions of dollars to former President Donald Trump’s re-election bid following the failed assassination attempt Saturday, announced that he would be moving the headquarters of his companies SpaceX and X.com (formerly Twitter) out of California and into Texas.

“This is the final straw. Because of this law and the many others that preceded it, attacking both families and companies, SpaceX will now move its HQ from Hawthorne, California, to Starbase, Texas,” said Musk on X, “I did make it clear to Governor Newsom about a year ago that laws of this nature would force families and companies to leave California to protect their children.”

Musk attacked the new law as an assault on parental rights and suggested that parents will now be forced to leave Newsom’s state to protect their children from undergoing irreversible, harmful cross-sex procedures with state approval.

Nationwide, government-run schools have become an ideological battleground pitting advocates of gender ideology and permanent medical interventions for children against parents.

Progressive school administrators, including in Maine, have mostly backed policies that all school staffers to exclude parents from social gender transitions and sex-change counseling in many cases. They’ve argued that such potentially life-altering decisions must be made without parental involvement because parents may, in some cases, not support their children attempting to live is if they were the opposite sex.

Musk’s high-profile protest of the radical new California law is the latest, and perhaps most significant, move to pushback on the gender ideology’s encroachment into public education, as well as the subversion of parental rights when it comes to their children’s educational and health care decisions.

SpaceX will move its headquarters to Starbase, Texas, while X’s headquarters will move from San Francisco to Austin.

Musk also took aim at California’s problems with homelessness and crime, which have been greatly exacerbated by Newsom’s far-left governance. Even as the Newsom administration has spent an estimated $24 billion in an attempt to combat homelessness in California, homelessness remains epidemic, and the state has admitted that it doesn’t even track the efficacy of its anti-homelessness initiatives.

“Have had enough of dodging gangs of violent drug addicts just to get in and out of the building,” said Musk.

The shift of the two massive companies from California to Texas is likely to harm California’s economy, reduce tax revenues, and help Texas on both fronts.

Newsom did not respond to the economic implications caused by his radical law, instead opting to insult Musk on X by saying that he “bent the knee” to former President Donald Trump.

After hearing that his state would be gaining Musk’s companies, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) celebrated the decision.

“@elonmusk announces the move of SpaceX headquarters to the great state of Texas. This cements Texas as the leader in space exploration,” said Gov. Abbot.

Musk’s announcement came a few months after his decision to move Tesla’s headquarters from Delaware to Texas, after a Delaware court attempted to approve an activist-led campaign to nullify his share-holder approved pay package.

Useless Pretty Boy Newsome needed this wake up call. I have never been a fan of Mr. Subsidy, but this move on his part is definitely appropriate. Too bad we can’t move the lobster industry to So. Dakota.

I guess the pride they have ends at the school door… This is just plain evil, seems like if they do not kill the children before they are born or in some states after they are born they will destroy them in public school. Not one of them questions the seeming explosion of transgender kids, maybe it is because we have installed social workers in schools. It would be interesting to see the increase in progressive social workers in schools when compared to the increase in transgender kids. And now crazy is it to call your child one pretend name in school and then go home to reality. You know who else makes kids keep secrets from their patents, Groomers.
