A new poll conducted by the Associated Press-NORC Center has found that the majority of Democrats want President Joe Biden to step down as the party’s nominee, as his mental capacity to serve as president has been called into question by numerous left-wing media outlets and Democrat politicians.

The poll, which was conducted between July 11-15, revealed that 70 percent of Americans believe that President Biden should drop out of the 2024 race.

Even among Democrats, a significant 65 percent majority said that Biden should step down, while 73 percent of Republicans want the Democrats to select a different nominee.

Support for Biden was strongest among black Democrats, 50 percent of whom want Biden to remain in the race, and Democrats over 45, 42 percent of whom continue to support Biden as their party’s nominee.

Younger Democrats have soured on Biden, with 75 percent of them hoping for a different candidate.

AP-NORC also asked respondents for their opinion of President Trump’s candidacy and found that 57 percent of Americans believe that Trump should step aside for another nominee. However, only 26 percent of those identified as Republicans agreed, while 86 percent of Democrats wanted a different Republican nominee.

During the same poll, the organization sought to gauge public opinion on the vice presidential candidates: current Vice President Kamala Harris and Trump’s recently announced running mate, Ohio U.S. Sen. J.D. Vance (R).

Overall, 48 percent of Americans have an unfavorable opinion of Vice President Harris, while 19 percent of Democrats view her in a negative light.

Sen. Vance was largely unknown among respondents, 60 percent of whom did not know enough about him to form an opinion, while only 11 percent of Republicans had a negative view of him.

During an interview released just hours after the poll, Biden told BET News that he would consider dropping out of the race if he is diagnosed with a serious ailment which would prevent him from running the country.

Those comments mark a significant departure from recent statements made by Biden during an interview with ABC News, in which he claimed that only a direct meeting with “the Lord Almighty” could convince him to leave the race.

Now why would a guy who, according to the democrats is as sharp a tack want to drop out? Besides it is the policies that are the issue, period, Golden supports them, do not let him off the hook for the deaths he has caused by having our borders wide open, and all the other anti American policies he stands for.
