At approximately 3:30 p.m., a deputy and a supervisor assigned to Hermon responded to 549 Deerfield Drive to conduct a bail search.
The individual subject to the search had previously been arrested during a search warrant execution at that address.
While conducting the search, deputies developed probable cause to believe that a wanted man was hiding out inside the residence.
Deputies attempted to convince the wanted suspect to come to the door, but attempts failed.
The Penobscot Sheriff’s Department applied for and received a search warrant for the residence to arrest the fugitive.
Deputies announced their presence, and the building’s occupants complied with law enforcement.
Deputies arrested Trevor Cameron, 41, of Hermon, on an outstanding arrest warrant. He was transported to the Penobscot County Jail.
The Sheriff’s Department did not specify what the warrant charged him with, and jail records do not specify the charge.

Christopher Cunningham, 39, homeless, was arrested on a probation violation after allegedly being with an individual he was prevented from contacting.
