The Penobscot Sheriff’s Department arrested five suspects on Wednesday after the department’s Special Response Team executed a drug-related search warrant in Hermon.

At approximately 2:40 p.m., sheriff’s personnel, along with agents with Homeland Security Investigations and U.S. Border Patrol, executed a search warrant at 108 Crogan Road in Hermon as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
This was the second time in four months that the department executed a warrant at the same address as part of a drug investigation.
During the warrant execution, deputies allegedly discovered fentanyl and methamphetamine, along with a stolen vehicle.
Deputies also arrested five suspects:
- Karen Perkins, 63, of Hermon, was arrested on an outstanding warrant, and charges of unlawful trafficking of Schedule W drugs, and receiving stolen property.
- Anna-Michelle Alzerreca, 48, of Hermon, was charged with unlawful trafficking of Schedule W drugs.
- Renee Miranda, 59, of Hermon, was charged with unlawful trafficking of Schedule W drugs and receiving stolen property.
- James Williams, 64, of Hermon, was charged with receiving stolen property and violation of conditions of release.
- Amanda Allard, 37, of Glenburn, was charged with unlawful possession of Schedule W drugs.
All suspects were transported to the Penobscot County Jail, and the investigation remains ongoing.
