President-elect Donald Trump selected Tom Homan as the administration’s “Border Czar” on Sunday, choosing an immigration hardliner to take over a position previously held by Vice President Kamala Harris.

“I’ve known Tom for a long time, and there is nobody better at policing and controlling our borders. Likewise, Tom Homan will be in charge of all deportation of illegal aliens back to their country of origin,” said Trump in a Truth Social post Sunday night.

Homan previously served as acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under the Trump Administration between 2017-2018 before retiring from the position in June 2018.

He will be in charge of border security at the southern, northern, and maritime borders, along with aviation security.

Homan has made his hardline position on illegal immigration known through various media appearances and public statements.

He spoke at the Republican National Convention in July, warning illegal immigrants about the upcoming crackdown under a second Trump administration.

“To the millions of illegal aliens that Joe Biden’s released in our country in violation to federal law, you better start packing now,” said Holman.

He voiced an even harsher condemnation of international drug cartels.

“When President Trump gets back in office, he’s going to designate you a terrorist organization, he’s going to wipe you off the face of the Earth,” said Holman.

A clip of Holman’s late October appearance on CBS News’ 60 Minutes went viral, showing his response to questions about President Trump’s mass deportation plan for illegal immigrants.

Presenter Cecilia Vega asked Holman if there was any way to carry out mass deportations without separating families, an oft-cited objection by opponents of deportation.

“Of course there is. Families can be deported together,” says Homan.

In the same interview, Holman responded to concerns over the cost of a mass deportation plan by suggesting that money is no object when considering measures essential to national security.

Holman is listed as a contributor to Project 2025.

Throughout the election cycle, left-wing media and politicians tried to tie Trump to Project 2025, while Trump maintained a distance from the project.

“I know nothing about Project 2025. I have no idea who is behind it. I disagree with some of the things they’re saying and some of the things they’re saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal. Anything they do, I wish them luck, but I have nothing to do with them,” said Trump.

Paying MY tax dollars to fund welfare payment for illegals who broke into our country is not acceptable . Our schools are poor . Our infrastructure is old .
Our power grid is from the sixties . Our politicians are arguing about gas powered leaf blowers . We need less taxes not more . Spending our money on these criminals is insane . We need fewer illegals not more . Send them home .

He should start in “SANCTUARY CITIES AND STATES”. Wonder what will happen in Brunswick at that new apartment complex Janet Mills built for the illegals and she gave them 2 years of FREE rent with OUR MONEY?

They should also go after whoever created the illegal app CBP ONE that allows them fly into any city without encountering a border agent. Then also go after the NGO’s who have been sheltering and transporting these people all over the US (Catholic Charities for one).

Lot of talk about the cost of deporting, at least it’s a one time figure. Keeping them here is never ending expense
