Here’s the version you’re getting from Maine’s dying legacy media: A brave and loving New Mainer from China who did nothing wrong and only wanted to work hard and live the American dream is now being punished without due process by the evil Fascist Nazi Trump Regime.

If you think that’s an exageration, here are a few quotes gleaned from legacy media coverage of Xing Feng “Tommy” Dong’s deportation case:

“Family devastated after ICE arrests Lewiston Chinese restaurant owner,” says the Bangor Daily News / CBS 13 headline.

Dong’s brother, who despite being in America for several years and running a business still needs a translator to give his sob story to the media, told the outlet:

“He just hopes the government can give his brother a chance.” He described his brother as “a hard worker, a nice person, he has two kids, and he is a good boss for this restaurant” … “He doesn’t understand why the government took his brother to jail and left them feeling very sad, left the kids with no father,” Xing Bi Dong said.

Here’s the real version, courtesy of The Robinson Report

Xing Feng “Tommy” Dong, 46, is an illegal alien who escaped deportation in 2008 despite an order of removal, illegally remained in the U.S., allegedly abused his co-worker and extramarital sexual partner / employee, and violated a protection from abuse order last year, earning a misdemeanor conviction but escaping felony charges.
