FBI Raids Critical Ex-Trump Aide’s House Looking For ‘Classified Docs,’ But Deep Stater Andy McCabe Comes to Bolton’s Rescue

The FBI raided Trump critic John Bolton’s home at dawn Friday, reportedly in search of secret government documents that the former top presidential advisor may allegedly be hiding.

Bolton, who served as national security adviser during President Trump’s first term in office, has been very critical of his ex-boss’ handling of foreign policy.

About the same time the agents began searching Bolton’s home in Bethesda, FBI Director Kash Patel wrote on X, “NO ONE is above the law… FBI agents on mission.”

And Dan Bongino, deputy FBI director, shared Patel’s post with the comment, “Public corruption will not be tolerated.”

No sooner did Patel advertise the raid than ex-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe got on CNN to blast Patel’s unconventional approach.

Bolton served as national security adviser from 2018 to 2019 but has since become an outspoken critic of Trump, both with regard to his approach to Russia and the Middle East.

Most recently, Bolton blasted Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard’s report that accused former president Barack Obama of engaging in a “years-long coup” against Trump.

During Trump’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Bolton said that Trump would surrender Alaska to Russia. Apparently Bolton, who has been out of government service for over six years and is getting on in age, was misinformed on that score.

On Friday morning, Bolton tweeted about an interview he did with NPR about Russia.

“Russia has not changed its goal: drag Ukraine into a new Russian Empire,” he tweeted. “Moscow has demanded that Ukraine cede territory it already holds and the remainder of Donetsk, which it has been unable to conquer.

“Zelensky will never do so. Meanwhile, meetings will continue because Trump wants a Nobel Peace Prize, but I don’t see these talks making any progress.”

Trump for his part has regularly and loudly criticized Bolton, calling him “stupid” and saying that he “blew up the Middle East.”

Prior to learning he could get on TV by criticizing Trump, Bolton was a staunch critic of Iran, which the Trump administration bombed earlier this summer. Apparently the grumpy old man, who looks vaguely like Yosemite Sam, is hard to please.
