When Maine’s House minority leader isn’t catching Democrats trying to pull a fast one, he’s out in the boat.
“It’s the biggest lobster I’ve ever caught,” Rep. Billy Bob Faulkingham said of his recent catch, an 18-pounder.
“It’s probably 100 years old, as big as a child.”
Faulkingham on his Facebook page then picked up a 12-pounder he’d also just caught.
“Small by comparison,” he said.
Faulkingham threw both of them back, but not before giving them a “snack” to take with them.
The House leader certainly needs big bugs to distract from the latest political catch – the Democrat secretary of state’s shenanigans.
Faulkingham signed on to a letter calling on Shenna Bellows to resign over her voter-ID scandal.
The letter cites “her refusal to cooperate with federal authorities, failures to comply with the National Voter Registration Act, and serious public safety concerns following the recent Lewiston tragedy involving a non-citizen driver.”
The letter was signed by Senate Republican Leader Trey Stewart, Faulkingham, Assistant House Republican Leader Katrina Smith, and Assistant Senate Republican Leader Matthew Harrington.
