Editorial: Do Not Comply

Do not comply, and more than that: peacefully resist the rise of PermaCovid tyranny.

The COVID-19 authoritarians are on the march.

Hospitals from California to Massachusetts are bringing back mask mandates.

NPR is openly speculating about the return of broader mandates nationally.

On Tuesday, President Joe Biden’s press secretary announced that the Commander-in-Chief would once again be masking.

In Maine, liberal media outlets are hyping the new COVID-19 variant with stories like this one: “COVID-19 infections rise in Maine, and wastewater testing indicates more to come“.

Gov. Janet Mills’ sister, Dora Mills, an executive at MaineHealth, recently told the same paper that “COVID is a fire that is circulating the globe…”

The writing is on the wall: public health bureaucrats in D.C. and Maine are eager to bring back authoritarian COVID-19 mandates.

To that, we say: Do not comply.

Do not comply with silly mask mandates. Do not comply with authoritarian mandates that violate your bodily autonomy. Do not comply with any attempt by the Mills Administration or the Biden Administration to relive this state and this country’s disastrous, unscientific, and inhumane COVID-19 calamity.

Instead, express your disagreement and displeasure through civil disobedience and peaceful, aggressive non-compliance.

If a store wants to bend the knee and enforce a mask mandate, fine. Respect their right to private property and their right of association. But shop elsewhere. And make sure you let them know they’ve lost for your business for good. (Email the Maine Wire: we’ll keep a running list of businesses that succumb to stupidity.)

If your employer mandates that you get the 13th version of whatever mRNA cocktail Pfizer wants piped into middle income arms, see ya! There are employers all over the state who will know better this time around. And, as with masks, if you know of an employer mandating the failed, experimental, and sometimes dangerous mRNA cocktails, please let the Maine Wire know; we’ll keep a list for that too. While we’re at it, we’ll keep a list of employers who refuse to obey ludicrous and unsound rules from petty little tyrants in Augusta and Washington, DC.

The trickiest thing of all will be schools.

COVID disrupted formative learning years, leaving kids to still struggle with basic reading skills https://t.co/mRpt8IplN1 pic.twitter.com/2mGWpoV8qg

— New York Post (@nypost) September 3, 2023

The catastrophic learning loss that resulted from the school closures is only beginning to be felt. Teen suicide ideation is up, test scores are down. Department of Health and Human Services Commissioner Jeanne Lambrew admitted as much in an all-staff email last week, writing, “Evidence continues to show that increased anxiety and depression have persisted for youth and children since the end of the COVID-19 public health emergency.”

The closure of Maine’s public schools was backed by the Maine Education Association (MEA) — aka, the union that exists to make sure public education is about teachers rather than kids. Here’s a rule of thumb: if the MEA supports it, it’s bad for kids and we should do the opposite.

So instead of school closures that harm kids, let’s just give severance pay to any school employee who is too scared to do their job. Put them in a rubber room. Who cares. From 2020 to 2022, we made children suffer so that adults could stay home. Anyone who advocates for repeating this mistake does so in full knowledge of the long-lasting negative impact on Maine’s kids.

On a related note, if someone tries to mandate masking for kids again, they should be arrested. The local cops might not want to risk their pensions, but I bet we’ve got a few sheriffs in Maine who would be happy to enforce Maine’s laws against child abuse. It’s now abundantly clear that masking, like the mRNA shots, doesn’t prevent transmission, but it does harm children and adults in other ways.

Fauci admits that masks don’t work for the public at large but still absurdly claims masks work on an individual basis.  More subterfuge. pic.twitter.com/UcjOa8flkr

— Rand Paul (@RandPaul) September 3, 2023

In 2020, we were all taken by surprise. We all bent too much to misinformation from incompetent, profiteering, and power-hungry buffoons. Never again. We played nice, we put the masks on, some of us were gullible enough to get the shots. In hindsight, it’s clear that we were all lied to — lied to by the very same people who are panting and gleeful about the prospect of PermaCovid, a never ending excuse to expand the power of government and enrich themselves at our expense.

They lied to you about the vaccine; it never prevented the spread of anything. They lied to you about non-Pfizer-stock-price-boosting treatments like Ivermectin. They lied to you about the adverse side effects of the shots. They lied to you about social distancing and “two weeks to stop the spread”. They lied about everything, and they do not deserve your trust now. In 2023 and 2024, only an unserious and forgetful people would allow this to happen again.

None of the people who orchestrated the destructive COVID-19 policies of the past three years deserve your respect or your obedience. They have lost the benefit of the doubt. And so we urge you: do not comply.

Do not comply, and more than that: peacefully resist the rise of PermaCovid tyranny.

I will never comply!! Mills is out to destroy our state and the people of Maine! She has harmed our children once. Do not let her do it again. Masks do more harm than good. Science has proven that masks don’t work and create more problems than good. The shots only harm people and do not protect you from the virus. So sad to see so many people follow the faux science of the liberals.

So your for passing on the virus? Do you but don’t pass on the virus. Stay home, go maskless and don’t go into other’s space that don’t agree with your rationale. It is silly to say don’t comply.

Amazing how the government, the super wealthy elite, the climate change whackos and the globalist managed to engineer a virus that shows up every four years that coincide with our elections. Simply amazing!

With more useless money making vaccines watch our average lifespan take an increasing dive over the next few years.

Please review the substack of Dr. Meryl Nass of Ellsworth. She’s observing the FDA very closely as they approve these Covid-19 vaccines and offers expert opinion and advice. From early on in the pandemic, I’ve followed Dr. Vinay Prasad, a hematologist-oncologist and health researcher. I witnessed his shift from total compliance( masks, shots, lockdowns) to questioning policies to criticizing the FDA, CDC, and Big Pharma about their motives and methods during the entire pandemic. John Lorimer Campbell, an English nurse educator, is another health professional who adjusted his views during the pandemic; he also provides excellent data and insight on masking, vaccines, vaccine injuries, etc. Many experienced, intelligent medical professionals offer us truth and alternative treatments, if we just look beyond the national healthcare agencies.

What about the “authoritarian mandates that violate your bodily autonomy” such as the GOP abortion measures and the laws demeaning LGBTQ folks?? This mailing is distressing. The GOP in which I was raised and supported has ceased to exist. It is now totally idea-free other than trying to grab/maintain power, exclude/dismiss people, exert authority over free enterprise, hand out financial benefits to the wealthy. Apparently you think your scientific knowledge is such that you’re willing to mandate “aggressive” non-compliance. Smacks of pride, the deadliest of the seven deadly sins.

The WHO and WEF will be celebrating if we are dumb enough to bow down to their medical tyranny again. This would mean a big advance of their 2030 agenda to CBDCs, digital passports that include our vax status and to top it off – total surveillance. For the sake of ourselves and future generations we must stand up this time. I will not comply!

  13. G.Domin on September 11, 2023 4:33 AM

You say it’s silly to comply, well I have a suggestion, why don’t you comply in the other direction and if your a mask wearer, scared of the so called COVID and comply with the useless and damaging vaccine, maybe you should stay home safe and sound and let we the Freedom loving people go about our business unscrutinized.

“Evidence continues to show that increased anxiety and depression have persisted for youth and children since the end of the COVID-19 public health emergency.” How about this – Get rid of the psychiatrists in the schools, stop talking about it every day, and go back to what our teachers used to tell us – Learn from it, Get over it, and Move on! Our minds are built to be able to block bad things that have happened to us – So just remember that it happened and do not let it happen again – AND DO NOT dwell on it! Dwelling on it will bring you down! There are always, always exceptions to the rules, but stop too much….. It would be quite interesting to see what really goes on in our schools now wouldn’t it? Most of us have no clue. Love to see replies on this one–

What a bunch of whiners and cowards.

Fine. Don’t comply. Don’t wear a mask. Don’t. Get vaccinated. Nobody cares, drama queens.

    Darwin will sort it out.

How’s the lockdown going for the mass shooting? You want to bray about how you shouldn’t comply?
