In a new guidance issued Wednesday, Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo warned young healthy adults under the age of 65 against taking the latest mRNA COVID-19 vaccine booster shot.

This comes just days after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced their approval of an updated mRNA vaccine for a new COVID variant dubbed “XBB.1.5.”

The agency said unvaccinated children aged 6 months and up are eligible to receive the Moderna mRNA injection.

“What I have directed our department to do is to provide guidance that really recommends and advises against the use of these mRNA Covid-19 vaccines for anyone under 65,” Ladapo said during an online panel hosted by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Wednesday.

The surgeon general’s recommendations were based on the fact that the newly approved boosters lack a human clinical trial and “evidence of benefit or efficacy.”

In the formal guidance, Lapado cites studies that show mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are associated with negative effectiveness 4 to 6 months after they are taken, and studies which show the COVID vaccines present a risk of myocarditis and other cardiovascular conditions in otherwise healthy individuals.

“Once again, the federal government is failing Americans by refusing to be honest about the risks and not providing sufficient clinical evidence when it comes to these COVID-19 mRNA shots, especially with how widespread immunity is now,” Lapado said. “In Florida, we will always use common sense and protect the rights and liberties of Floridians, including the right to accurate information.”

Instead of the booster shots, Lapado recommends Floridians prioritize their health through physical exercise, eating non-processed foods, and spending time outside to support healthy vitamin D levels.

Lapado’s guidance is the DeSantis’ administration’s latest effort to push back on the FDA and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations.

In May, Gov. DeSantis codified certain COVID-19 protections in the state in an effort to bolster medical freedom, including prohibiting the use of COVID vaccine passports, banning COVID vaccine and mask requirements in all Florida schools, and barring employers from hiring or firing based on the vaccines.

“I will not stand by and let the FDA and CDC use healthy Floridians as guinea pigs for new booster shots that have not been proven to be safe or effective,” Gov. DeSantis said Wednesday. “Once again, Florida is the first state in the nation to stand up and provide guidance based on truth, not Washington edicts.”

Tell me honestly, does anyone with even half a brain trust the CDC or the FDA? Come on man…….they lied to us for three years about the clot shot killer jab and now expect the gullible out there to line up to get yet another jab? There is zero published dat about the efficacy or for that matter the safety but the lemmings will never-the-less line up and roll up their sleeves. Its the flu season and the best way to avoid getting sick is to eat right, get plenty of sleep and take extra vitamin C, zinc picolinate and quercetin to ward off the dreaded flu.
