Portland Police announced Thursday that a suspect has been arrested in connection to multiple recent burglaries in the Portland area over the past several weeks.

Joseph Call, 37, of Windham, was arrested after an “extensive investigation” which included detectives from the Portland, Westbrook, and South Portland Police Departments.

Police say Call was linked to burglaries at The Blue Lobster (Dec. 17), Coffee by Design (Dec. 30), Rosemont Market and Bakery (Dec. 30), LFK cocktail bar (Dec. 31), Rusty Lantern Market (Jan. 13), and Pat’s Meat Market (Jan. 14) in Portland.

Call is expected to face multiple charges of burglary and theft for these incidents, Portland Police stated.
