Portland Police are investigating a shootout between the occupants of two cars that occurred Tuesday evening in the city’s Sagamore Village neighborhood.

Police responded to the area of 77 Taft Ave. in Portland for a report of a shooting shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday.

According to witnesses, a black Lexus pulled up alongside a small sedan that was pulled over on the side of the road and a shootout occurred, with occupants of both cars firing at each other.

The Lexus then sped away and turned onto Godfrey Street and then proceeded to Josslyn Street, police said.

Sagamore Village, the location of the reported shooting, is a low rent public housing neighborhood for families in Portland. The project is managed by the Portland Housing Authority.

Portland Police announced Wednesday that they are seeking information from anyone in the area of the shootout that might have surveillance camera footage for them to review.

Investigators are asking that anyone with information call them at (207) 874-8575, or text keyword PPDME and your message to 847411.

Now we know the “color” of the car. What is the “color” of the victims?

What? Were their injuries? two stationary cars people in both cars shooting, and nobody got hit? Dang, those gansta’s suck! They need to take lessons from those boys in Chicago! Got to step up and be like every other blue city and be the proverbial craphole don’t want to be left out! And that’s the reason I don’t do anything in Portland!
