Amid concerns that cracks are appearing in the U.S. economy, U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell is reassuring Americans that the job market continues to be strong.

“We follow all the possible stories that are out there about there being cracks, but the overall picture really is a strong labor market,” said Powell.

“In many, many respects, things are returning more to their state in 2019, which we can think of as normal for this purpose,” he said.

Data, flagged by ZeroHedge, show that the “labor market” may look strong on paper, but there is more to the story if you’re an American taxpayer.

POWELL: DON'T SEE CRACKS IN THE LABOR MARKET

what cracks? All new jobs since 2018 have gone to immigrants, and 250,000 illegals enter the country every month pic.twitter.com/tH0tFx73i1

According to Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data compiled by ZeroHedge, all job growth since 2018 has gone to foreign born workers, while the number of native born workers has dropped.

Foreign born workers have gained 3,868,000 jobs, while native born Americans hold 18,000 fewer jobs than they did in 2018.

The data also suggests that President Joe Biden’s claims about historic economic prosperity, including growing employment, applies to foreign-born adults living in the U.S. rather than U.S. citizens.

“Now, our economy is the envy of the world. We added 275,000 jobs last monthโ€”nearly 15 million since I took office. Unemployment has been under 4% for the longest stretch in more than 50 years,” said President Biden in a statement earlier this month.

The BLS data suggest “Bidenomics” is working very well — just not for working-age Americans who were born here.

This comes as unprecedented numbers of illegal immigrants have flowed across the U.S. border under Biden.

Illegal immigrants have brought social services to the breaking point in U.S. cities, such as Portland, Maine.

Even in New York City, Mayor Eric Adams, once a proponent of sanctuary city policies, is reeling from an ongoing crisis caused by large waves of illegal immigrant arrivals.

In Boston, services are stretched so thin that illegal immigrants are sleeping inside terminals of the city’s Logan International Airport.

Meantime, Biden has refused to use the power conferred to him under U.S. law to gain control of the border — even going in the opposition direction by suing Texas to prevent the Lone Star State from fortifying its border with Mexico.

I want to thank the CEO of Kellogg for coming up with the democrats 2024 campaign slogan. โ€œCereal for Dinnerโ€. They should make T-shirts and pass them out at the border. From now on these morons shall be referred to as the CfD administration.
