Lewiston Police announced the arrest of a 26-year-old man Monday after he was found trespassing in a common area of a Lisbon Street apartment complex while in possession of cocaine.

Police say they were called to 282 Lisbon St. in Lewiston (Chestnut Place Apartment) for a report of a criminal trespass.

Patrol officers responded and located 26-year-old Kamal Mohamed Haji Ali.

According to Lewiston Police, Ali was found trespassing in a common area of the building.

An investigation by Lewiston Police and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency resulted in Ali being found in possession of 82.8 grams of cocaine base, aka “crack cocaine,” as well as $547 cash in suspected drug proceeds.

This isn’t just a black problem. White junkies are breaking into empty apartments and it takes months to get them out. Squatters are protected in Maine. I wonder why it was criminal trespass? Maybe he already had a no trespassing order against him for that location? Anyone know how that works?

Esau you are correct it is a joe Biden problem. Joe supports the use of drugs. His son is prof, along with his boarder police. We need more grants from congreass to hire more police, not to adide the busnesses. If there were less drugs busness would do better
Get rid of grass in the woods.

That’s sad. Another native Mainer from the County who got into trouble. I doubt this had anything to do with present US border conditions. If he is an illegal alien, what do you think the chances of him being deported are? My guess is 0%.
