White House, Maine Democrats Celebrate “Trans Day of Visibility” on Easter Sunday

Jesus Christ played second fiddle to "Transgender Day of Visibility" for Democratic pols this Easter

Conservatives and Christians across the country were outraged when President Joe Biden announced on Good Friday, a day when Christians commemorate the death of Christ, that Easter Sunday would be commemorated as the “Trans Day of Visibility.”

That the celebration of transgender ideology coincided with Easter was a coincidence of dates, not a deliberate plan by the Biden Administration. However, conservatives also lambasted Biden for prohibiting religious-themed art from an official White House event and for appearing to prioritize transgender-centric messaging over celebrations of the Christian holiday.

“It is appalling and insulting that Joe Biden’s White House prohibited children from submitting religious egg designs for their Easter Art event, and Formally proclaimed Easter Sunday as ‘Trans Day of Visibility.’ Sadly, these are just two more examples of the Biden-Administration’s years-long assault on the Christian Faith,” said former President Donald Trump’s campaign.

Trump’s campaign also demanded that President Biden issue a formal apology to all American Christians.

In advance of Easter, Biden, who has long purported to be a devout Catholic, put out a lengthy statement officially recognizing “Transgender Day of Visibility,” while ignoring Easter.

Trump was far from the only person to condemn the proclamation.

“Aside from being disgraceful and insulting to Christians, declaring a trans day of visibility on Easter Sunday is just *weird.* The White House should apologize. Then Biden should fire whoever is responsible,” said U.s. Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) on X.

“Biden’s re-election team can reflect on this moment when he loses in November. This was intentionally done to disrespect the Christian significance of Easter and it WILL backfire,” said Rep. Anna Luna (R-Fla.) on X.

“The Biden White House has betrayed the central tenet of Easter — which is the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Banning sacred truth and tradition—while at the same time proclaiming Easter Sunday as “Transgender Day”—is outrageous and abhorrent. The American people are taking note,” said Speaker-of-the-House Mike Johnson (R-La.) on X.

Following the outrage, White House Spokesman Andrew Bates submitted a statement to multiple news outlets defending the president.

“It’s unsurprising politicians are seeking to divide and weaken our country with cruel, hateful, and dishonest rhetoric. President Biden will never abuse his faith for political purposes or for profit,” said Bates.

Biden’s defenders claimed that his proclamation should not have sparked outrage, because, while the date of Easter varies every year, the Transgender Day of Visibility has been fixed on March 31 since its inception in 2009.

Conservatives were unconvinced.

“The president does not need to issue any proclamation recognizing it and no president has recognized it until Biden two years ago. He may not decide the date for this fake bulls**t holiday but he does decide to officially proclaim it,” said conservative Daily Wire commentator Matt Walsh on X.

The excuse will be that “Transgender Day of Visibility” is a fixed “holiday” that always falls on March 31. The problem with that excuse is that the president does not need to issue any proclamation recognizing it and no president has recognized it until Biden two years ago. He…

On Easter, Biden did publish a statement celebrating the Christian holiday, but that proclamation was far shorter than his gushing praise for the transgender community in his earlier announcement.

“As we gather with loved ones, we remember Jesus’ sacrifice. We pray for one another and cherish the blessing of the dawn of new possibilities. And with wars and conflict taking a toll on innocent lives around the world, we renew our commitment to work for peace, security, and dignity for all people,” said Biden.

Despite his Easter statement, Biden did not issue any apology, instead doubling down on his support for transgender ideology.

“Today, on Transgender Day of Visibility, I have a simple message to all trans Americans: I see you. You are made in the image of God, and you’re worthy of respect and dignity,” said Biden on X.

Biden also drew the criticism of Catholic religious authorities.

“Like a number of Catholics, he picks and chooses dimensions of the faith to highlight while ignoring or even contradicting other parts,” said Wilton D. Gregory, a Catholic cardinal and the archbishop of Washington D.C., speaking to CBS.”

“There is a phrase that we have used in the past, a cafeteria Catholic, you choose that which is attractive and dismiss that which is challenging,” said Cardinal Gregory.

Gregory also criticized Biden for his stance on abortion, and implied that Biden uses his faith for political gain.

“He also steps aside some of the hot-button issues or uses the hot-button issues as a political tool, which it’s not – it is not the way I think we would want our faith to be used,” said Gregory.

Despite the harsh criticism, Gregory nevertheless claimed that Biden is “very sincere” about his Catholicism, and that he attends church with “great devotion.”

In Maine, Senate President Troy Jackson (D-Aroostook) also jumped on transgender bandwagon while also posting rabbit-themed nods to Easter.

Nothing shocks me with this radical, far left regime. LBGTQ+ have plenty of exposure. An entire month of almost North Korean style banner level promotion, and now… Easter Sunday. As an afterthought the beleaguered Biden administration made an 11th hour acknowledgement of Christ’s resurrection.
How Joe Biden can be polling within error margins with Donald Trump is very hard to understand. The United States is lost – probably to the point of no recovery.

The only thing to be celebrated on Easter Sunday is the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. This transgender visibility day is just one more paganistic addition to an easter bunny and easter eggs,

Would it not be more appropriate to move this day of visibility one day forward to April 1st?

One more screw in the coffin of Biden’s purported devotion to Catholicism.

Like any of us needs to be beat over the head once again with the Left’s trans-everything bludgeon that we must all like, love, adore, endorse, support, confirm, champion, adopt, advocate, sanction, and defend the transgender blimp, so bloated that we’re already cowering in its Stygian gloom.

What is that about “visibility?” I can’t see a damned thing in the dark, here.

If you aren’t familiar with the dark history and evolution of the “Transgender Empire,” this Imprimis edition should startle you; it’s excellent work by Chris Rufo:

    https://imprimis.hillsdale.edu/inside-the-transgender-empire/

    Here’s a “charming excerpt:”

“Susan Stryker, a male-to-female transgender professor currently at the University of Arizona, revealed the general thrust and tone of transgender ideology in his Kessler Award Lecture at the City University of New York in 2008, describing his work as “a secular sermon that unabashedly advocates embracing a disruptive and refigurative genderqueer or transgender power as a spiritual resource for social and environmental transformation.” In Stryker’s best-known essay, “My Words to Victor Frankenstein above the Village of Chamounix: Performing Transgender Rage,” he contends that the “transsexual body” is a “technological construction” that represents a war against Western society. “I am a transsexual, and therefore I am a monster,” Stryker writes. And this monster, he continues, is destined to channel its “rage and revenge” against the “naturalized heterosexual order”; against “‘traditional family values’”; and against the “hegemonic oppression” of nature itself.”

Please, please read the entire essay if you haven’t already seen it. You will see the relationship to Marxist transition, and to the Pritzker family, whose fortune derives from Hyatt Hotels, which means I helped make them rich, since that was our preferred hotel when I did business in DC, which was many times a year for many years.

I no longer talk to my son because he started dating one of these trans “women”. He literally worships it and treats it like his god, it’s so sad because he used to be a good Christian boy that went to church every Sunday until he met it. I have to admit after the one time I met it(it did look and sound like a girl, I have to say) I gave into temptation and started to sin and watch these demons on adult websites, I felt so trapped. I eventually found the courage to talk to my pastor about it and I can now gladly say I no longer go on those sites and sin. It does really make me sad though that I no longer have a relationship with my son.

The religious right is so creepy. They don’t believe in Jesus. They’re just so angry and way to interested in what other people in their bedrooms. Maybe they should be more worried about their own bedrooms…. me thinx they def protest too much.
