A homeless man in Portland arrested on Sunday for visual sexual aggression against a child was given $500 bail at the Cumberland County Jail.

According to Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office arrest records, 30-year-old Ahmed Said Abdullahi was arrested by Portland Police shortly after 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 12, on the charge of visual sexual aggression against a child.

The arrest record indicates that Abdullahi is an “unhoused” man in Portland.

Abdullahi was booked at the Cumberland County Jail where his bond amount was set at $500.

As set forth in the Maine Criminal Code, a person is guilty of visual sexual aggression against a child if that person — aged 18 years or older — exposes their genitals to a child under 14 years old, a Class D crime.

If a person commits visual sexual aggression against a child under 12 years old, the crime is upgraded to a Class C offense.

Also included in the criminal statute is the visual recording or surveillance of a child’s genital areas under circumstances “in which a reasonable person would expect to be safe from such surveillance.”

As of Monday afternoon, Abdullahi was still incarcerated at the Cumberland County Correctional Facility.

The Maine Wire has contacted Portland Police for more information regarding where the alleged incident occurred, and whether Abdullahi was arrested at one of the homeless shelters in the city.

This story will be updated with any additional information.

Hopefully his fellow prisoners will take care of him so he will never be able to show his genitals in public again.

When the Maine Wire updates this story, be sure to include his immigration status, his religion, what organization facilitated his move to Portland and then give him Rachel Talbot Ross’s home address after Deqa Dhala provides Abdullahi’s bail.

One of the 75K “New Mainers” Blinky Mills wants to “enhance our workforce” with by 2033.
And just $500 bail?! This guy, if he hasn’t already, will commit far more serious sexual crimes.

Unhoused? He’s housed now at your expense. Where the hell did this creep come from and why is he allowed to stay? Give him a plane ticket back to the hell hole he came from. This an excellent opportunity to rid us of a useless creep that I presume is an illegal alien.

When something such as this train wreck arrives at the jail, do they still cut off his hair? Or is that now considered “discrespectful?

Many comments suggest he’s a illegal ‘new Mainer’ but just to chime in I grew up with him went to school together like 20 years ago through high school , everyone who knows him is sharing this like crazy of course because this is sick and $500 bail because he’s ‘unhoused’ is sad & just a quick little fyi for those who continue to blame crime on the new families that have come here , I’d like to mention most of the crime from homeless are our born here in this STATE folks, Americans , not saying ALLLL CRIME but most , & saying send them back every time a crime is posted when no information suggests they weren’t born right in the city it’s being posted about & everyone just assumes is sad , we want better humans be a better human too because that’s unfair to those who come here for positive life.
