Far Left Dem Rep. Cori Bush Claims She Has Christ-Like Powers to Make Paralytics Walk, Heal Cancer

In recently resurfacing statements, Democrat Congresswoman Cori Bush (D-Mo.) claimed that during her time as a female pastor with the Kingdom Embassy International Churches, she was responsible for miraculously healing a homeless woman’s tumor, and giving a lame girl the ability to walk.

“One woman whom we met had several visible tumors on her torso. She was due to have surgery but lacked health insurance and living in the park. One of the tumors was particularly painful to her. I laid hands on her and prayed, and I felt that my hand was no longer touching a tumor. It shrank along with the others on her body,” said Rep. Bush in her 2022 autobiography, The Forerunner: A Story of Pain and Perseverance in America.

In her book, Bush details her time as a pastor with a group known for promoting “faith healing,” and which, according to the Washington Examiner, claims to have resurrected the dead, along with curing AIDS, paralysis, and cancer.

Bush claims that, after she understood that she had God’s power “already residing in [her],” she was able to cure the homeless woman of her tumors merely by placing hands on her and praying.

The homeless woman is not named by Bush, making any attempts to verify the incident essentially impossible.

Bush also discussed the incident during a 2022 interview, where she affirmed her belief that the woman’s tumors disappeared after she touched them.

On another occasion, Bush claims, she was able to cure a three-year-old girl who had been unable to walk since birth.

According to Bush, the girl had never walked following a brain-bleed.

The girl was then cured of her malady and became miraculously able to walk after Bush simply spoke to her, saying “walk.”

The girl’s grandmother was astonished and grateful, according to Bush.

The Maine Wire was unable to find evidence that anyone had come forward publicly to acknowledge having been cured by Bush.

Bush also previously worked as a nurse, although it is unclear why she would have needed to become a traditional medical practitioner if the power of God within her allowed her to heal cancer and paralysis instantly, with no medical intervention.

The Kingdom Embassy’s “presiding apostle” Charles Ndifon, a Nigerian who founded the international faith healing cult, claims to have begun “training” Bush in faith healing after meeting her in St. Louis in 2011.

According to comments made by Ndifon to the Washington Examiner, in 2020, the year Bush was elected to congress, she called Ndifon while in the hospital with COVID-19.

Ndifon then allegedly cured Bush’ COVID just by speaking with her over the phone.

The “presiding apostle” bragged to the Washington examiner that he did not wear a mask during COVID restrictions because he trusted the power of God to protect him.

Despite working with Ndifon, and claiming the miraculous power of healing, Bush was nevertheless an advocate for masking and other now-debunked COVID safety protocols.

While advocating for COVID vaccines in 2021, Bush celebrated the Biden Administration for trusting in science.

“That means that we will finally begin making progress to overcome this pandemic as a country, and I am so glad we finally have an administration that believes in science that we can work with,” said Bush.

Bush is considered to be a member of congress’s “squad,” an informal designation given to a few of the Democrat’s most radical progressives, including Rep. Alexandria Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.)

Bush was only two members of congress to vote against a bill barring Hamas terrorists from entering the U.S.
