An Auburn man who was the subject of the months-long in investigation into suspecting drug dealing activities was arrested Wednesday after police found him in possession of cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine during a traffic stop.
Auburn Police say that their Proactive Community Enforcement (PACE) Unit had been investigating 38-year-old Jason Boston of Auburn for several months over suspecting drug dealing.
On Wednesday, Auburn Police officers with the PACE Unit conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle operated by Boston.
As a result of the stop, police seized approximately 39 grams of cocaine, 27 grams of cocaine base (crack cocaine), two grams of fentanyl powder and one gram of crystal methamphetamine, as well as two digital scales and $640 cash in suspected drug proceeds.
Boston was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated trafficking scheduled drugs, and four counts of felony drug possession.
He was transported to the Androscoggin County Jail where his bail was set at $5,000 cash.
