Democrats attending President Donald Trump’s Tuesday night speech to a joint session of Congress refused to stand when Trump honored a 13-year-old boy with cancer.
Trump addressed the joint session for over an hour and a half, during which he announced that D.J. Daniel, who has been sworn in by over 900 police departments across the county, would be an honorary Secret Service agent. Trump said that Daniel had survived for six years despite being told he had less than five months to live.

“Since that time, D.J. and his dad have been on a quest to make his dream come true. And D.J. has been sworn in as an honorary law enforcement officer actually a number of times. The police love him. The police departments love him,” Trump said during the speech. “And tonight, D.J., we are going to do you the biggest honor of them all. I am asking our new Secret Service Director Sean Curran to officially make you an agent of the United States Secret Service.”
Video showed that Democrats remained seated while Republicans stood up and applauded, with some of them chanting, “D.J.” as Curran presented Daniel with credentials and received a hug from the 13-year-old.
“WOW. Welcome to the Secret Service, Agent DJ,” Republican Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina posted on X. “Who’s cutting onions?”
The address was marred earlier by Democratic Rep. Al Green of Texas being ejected from the House Chamber in the Capitol building after heckling Trump during the speech.
Didn’t Pelosi look like death warmed over? The Dem/Socialists looked like a bunch of stiffs in general.
Democrats are evil. Just look at their faces. It’s written all over their faces.

Genius. A clear division between good and evil on full display for all the world to see. Sometimes you just gotta show people and let that sink in. Emotional insecurity as DOGE lets the cash cows out of the barn. And the cat out of the bag. Boo hoo. An end to their beaurocracy!
The Democrats should have been wearing the hammer and sickle to show their true selves.
Again, President Trump shows the entire country what compassion and honor are. This young man deserves the attention that he received from the republicans in attendances and the nation.
I am not surprised by the actions of the Democratic Party in attendance to snub this deserving 13 year old boy battling brain cancer! That complete lack of any compassion or emotion sets the true standard of what the democratic leadership in our country are all about. Anything in opposition of Our President Donald Trump no matter how good or compassionate in this case anything is, it is a no vote by the Dems. I sincerely hope that this negative attention will bite them in the butt in 2026 midterms! Seventy three percent of the nation approved of the Presidents address to Congress!
How on earth can’t you be moved by the look on DJ’s face when he became an honorary Secret Service Agent? Shame on you Democrats for not honoring that boy and his father. You don’t think your family can be touched by illness?
Democrats have such a hatred for Trump and anything good for America that they can’t even clap or stand for a kid who has cancer. What a bunch of a-holes. Democrats have never looked worse and are digging a progressively deep hole.
