The Auburn Police Department’s Proactive Community Enforcement (PACE) Unit executed a search warrant at the Center Street Value Inn, resulting in two arrests and the seizure of multiple drugs and cash.
Police say the operation followed an ongoing investigation into drug activity at the Inn.
During the search, which was on the morning of Thursday, July 10, officers recovered methamphetamine, cocaine base (crack), fentanyl, over 600 oxycodone pills, digital scales, packaging materials, and more than $2,000 in suspected drug proceeds.

Authorities arrested 51-year-old Mark Buiniskas of Lisbon and 35-year-old Shannon Morrison of Lewiston.
Both were charged with four counts of Class C unlawful possession of Schedule W drugs and four counts of Class B unlawful trafficking of Schedule W drugs.

Buiniskas also faced an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court on a prior drug possession charge.
He was transported to the Androscoggin County Jail, where he is being held without bail pending a court appearance. Morrison’s bail information was not disclosed.
