The New Hampshire State Police are investigating a grizzly scene after troopers and local police discovered two adults and two young children dead from gunshot wounds in their Madbury, NH, home, with one toddler found at the horrifying scene uninjured.

The NH Department of Justice announced the investigation on Monday after law enforcement entered a home on Moharimet Drive in Madbury and discovered four people deceased inside.
State police officers found the bodies of Emily Long, 34, Ryan Long, 48, their eight-year-old son, and their six-year-old daughter, all dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
Officers also found a third child of the couple, a three-year-old, alive and uninjured, but seemingly forced to witness the deaths of his parents and siblings.
State police detectives are investigating the horrifying scene as a potential murder-suicide.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Concord, NH, is set to conduct autopsies throughout the day on Wednesday, and the NH DOJ will likely release further details after the autopsies are complete.
