MSP Investigating Child Death in Penobscot County

Maine State Police are investigating the death of a one-year-old child who was found unresponsive Sunday morning at a residence in the town of Milford.

The child was discovered on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2025. Under state statute, the Maine State Police investigate all deaths involving children under the age of three.

Authorities said there is no danger to the public. The investigation remains active, and no additional information is being released at this time.
