The Bangor Police Department arrested a woman on Thursday following a stabbing incident at a Bangor home the previous Saturday.

Police responded shortly before noon on January 24 to reports of a knife assault at a Larkin Street residence.
When officers arrived, they discovered a female victim with severe laceration injuries, but the suspect had allegedly fled by the time law enforcement arrived.
The victim was transported to a local hospital by the Bangor Fire Department and has since been released.
The Bangor Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division investigated the incident and eventually acquired an arrest warrant for Sammantha Johnson, 36, of Bangor.
At approximately 7:46 p.m. on Thursday, police found Johnson on Bangor’s Second Street and took her into custody.
Johnson faces charges of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon.
Police did not release details on the motive behind the alleged assault or whether the parties involved knew each other.
