A Bangor man was arrested on Wednesday morning after he allegedly tried to break into vehicles while in his underwear.

At approximately 6:47 a.m., The Bangor Police Department responded to Center Street for reports of a man trying to break into locked vehicles while in his underwear.

When officers arrived, they discovered a man matching the description in reports who was allegedly actively trying to enter a vehicle that did not belong to him.

Officers identified the suspect as Alexander Justice, 34, of Bangor.

Investigators also spoke with downtown businesses, and heard complaints about rocks being thrown at their windows earlier in the morning.

Police used security footage from the businesses and identified Justice as the alleged suspect in those incidents as well.

Justice was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and criminal attempt at burglarizing a motor vehicle. He was transported to the Penobscot County Jail

What would encourage someone to get any neck tattoo, particularly the word “broken“?

I would suspect that the “Broken” neck tattoo was the product of previous jail time. Should the gentleman continue down his present odd path, he might next be wearing a length of half inch manilla tied with thirteen wraps around the standing part.
