A Veazie man was sentenced to ten years in prison on Friday after he enticed a minor to produce child pornography and offered to pay for child abuse images.

Austin Cocchiro, 24, of Veazie, pleaded guilty to two counts of enticing a minor and one count of possessing child pornography in September 2025.

In 2022 and again in 2024, Cocchiro used his phone to induce a minor to participate in the production of child pornography.

He also offered to use an online payment app to pay for sexually explicit images.

In November 2024, the FBI executed a search warrant at Cocchiaro’s home and discovered additional abuse material on his two cell phones.
