‘Rules for thee but not for me.’ – Troy Jackson
Chace Jackson, the son of then-Maine Senate president Troy Jackson, now the Democrat nominee for U.S. Senate, successfully fought environmental regulations while his father was in charge of counting votes.
That according to the Washington Free Beacon, which reports that Maine Senate Dems apparently helped Troy lobby for an oil company under fire for supposedly violating emissions rules at its oil-storage depots.
Young Jackson the lobbyist was working on behalf of Global Partners, state records obtained by the Washington Free Beacon show.
He was up against a pair of bills requiring state environmental police to keep oil emissions in check.
Legislation requiring that municipal officials be notified of emissions violations won approval from the legislature.
But an inspection bill subjecting Global Partners to air-quality testing died in the Troy Jackson-controlled Senate.
“Chace Jackson’s lobbying work – for a Fortune 500 oil company, in particular – reflects how Troy Jackson and his family became entrenched in the ‘system’ he now says he’s running against as he seeks to unseat Republican incumbent Susan Collins,” according to Beacon reporter Collin Anderson.
The senior Jackson earlier this year said he was tired of dealing with “special interests, high-priced lobbyists and corporate greed.”
“Troy Jackson’s criticism would, in theory, apply to his son,” Anderson says in his report.

In his TV commercial Jackson says “ We’re gettin screwed “
WE ARE GETTING SCREWED and the Democrats are doing it .
THEY have been doing it for eight long years ……anybody want four more ?
Just another two-faced Democrat.
If he went to Washington I hope he doesn’t he’ll make stock trading look like buying a scratch tick at big apple. In there everyday trading & selling.
Scratch ticket
Its like the biden family but retarded.
A vote for Troy is like expecting AOC to become a top notch brain surgeon over night.
