NBC Sports guest Michael Holley went lights out, live on air, during Friday’s edition of PFT, leaving host Mike Florio visibly stunned.
The clip made rounds on the internet despite the network’s decision not to re-air the show as it usually does on Peacock, NBCSN, or Sky Sports, according to Kathryn Wilkens of MediaIte.
Holley is seen slowly leaning back in his chair as Florio discussed the NFL, then flipping backward as he lost consciousness and fell out of his chair and out of the frame, Ryan Canfield of Fox News reported.
“PFT Live” then quickly cut to a commercial.
“What happened to Michael Holley?” Florio questioned on-air after noticing his co-host, who was broadcasting from his home studio in Cambridge, Massachusetts, had disappeared from his monitor.
A noise, seemingly Holley hitting the floor, was then heard over the broadcast, leading Florio to worry, “Did he just pass out?”
The show says Holley overheated and was later allegedly fine.

Holley, 56, began working for NBC Sports and Peacock six years ago, later becoming a regular rotating co-host of “PFT Live.”
He formerly wrote columns for the Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, The Plain Dealer and Akron Beacon Journal.
Holley also spent 13 years as a radio commentator with WEEI.
Though Florio was trying to downplay the possibility Holley has a serious medical condition, social-media types aren’t ready to buy into the fawning just-a-fainting-spell narrative.
“JV Felger Jones,” an X poster who has no problem lampooning the media covering pro sports, had this sardonic comment:
“Imagine if talking to Mike Florio was the last thing you ever did.”
